2023 Granum Prize Shortlist Announced

November 13, 2023 — We are excited to announce the shortlist for the 2023 Granum Foundation Prize!

Shortlist: Derrick Austin, Carina del Valle Schorske, Molia Dumbleton, Jerakah Greene, Jared Jackson, John Jeffire, Margaret Kelly, Su-Yee Lin, Angie Sijun Lou, Hadley Moore, Cindy Juyoung Ok, Jesus Pena, Stephen Policoff, Tanya Rey, A.J. Rodriguez, Mollie Swayne

We commend all the applicants on the longlist. As we narrowed the pool of writers even further for this round, we had to make tough decisions based on sometimes small and subjective differences.

The Granum Foundation was established to help U.S.-based writers complete substantive literary works and to help launch these works. The Granum Prize shortlist represents the top 1.5% of entries from all genres. The winner and finalists will be announced on November 20, 2023.

Applications for our next round of prizes are expected to open in May, 2024.
