2026 Granum Translation Prize Shortlist Announced

October 23, 2026 — We are excited to announce the shortlist for the 2026 Granum Foundation Translation Prize.

Shortlist: Ellen Li translating Marvin Victor, Allana Lieberman translating Sabina Urraca, Richard Prins translating Tom Olali, D. P. Snyder translating Ethel Krauze, and Kathleen Sullivan translating Malek Lakhal

The Granum Foundation was established to help U.S.-based translators and writers complete substantive literary works and to help launch these works.

The Granum Foundation Translation Prize strives to acknowledge talented literary artists who seek to expand the readership of authors from around the world and illuminate work that elevates society.

The winner will be announced in November.

Applications for our next round of prizes are expected to open in May 2027.
