October 12, 2021 — We are delighted to announce the longlist for the 2021 Granum Foundation Fellowship Prize.

The Granum Prize was established to help U.S.-based writers complete substantive literary works and to help launch these works. Funding is meant to provide a writer with the tools, time, and freedom to help ensure their success.

We received nearly 250 applications from 41 states and Washington, D.C., in this inaugural year, and the standard of work was very high among the entries. The longlist represents roughly the top 10% of entries from all genres.

The winner and finalists will be announced on November 9, 2021. Applications for our next round of prizes are expected to open in May, 2022.
